This has to be one of my favourite places in Chester, during the summer the river is alive with boats floating up and down and people sitting enjoying the views and if your lucky also listening to a band playing. If you like people watching...More

Had a boat trip on Lady Diana, up the River Dee and back, the trip was 30mins in total and on the whole fairly enjoyable. On board commentary was poor and needs updating but okay value for money.

Very picturesque riverside walk. Continue to the boat club and admire the beautiful houses on the banks of the river. Even on a cold bright November day it was enjoyable, would love to return in summer and do the same walk, lots of benches to...More

Great area so close to the city centre. Gets very busy at the week-end especially in summer. Lovely place to stroll on a sunny early morning.

Lovely place to walk by and to stop on the bridges taking in the surrounds of Chester. Great to stop by the weir and hear the rushing of the water.

A gentle cruise up the river on a large old boat. The scenery was lovely and the commentary on the way back was informative.
