Fantastic day out, lovely set up and the animals they have are amazing. Disappointed that you have to pay extra fir the monorail but well worth doing. Will return soon! Tip: see the baby elephant asap left me speechless

Visited Chester zoo many times now, well worth the long travel. Lovely to go during the summer! Would definitely recommend.

Hadn't been to Chester Zoo for several years so it was lovely to see the many changes. You can quite clearly see where entrance fees are going due to the developments in progress. We arrived at 10:30 and spent the full day with our Grandson....More

there is one yes. Details.are the zoo's website. the buses are every half an hour.

It is best to turn up when it opens at 10 am as we visited today (Thurs.) and turned up at 10 am, by 11am it was really busy. We left 1.30pm and the car park was really full.

There is a Park and Ride service next to the zoo that runs to the town centre. You could probably use that but I'd check first because when we bought a ticket to go into the town we bought it from a machine in the office... More
