Really well kept zoo and grounds. All the staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable, especially the girl in the fruit bat forest. However in the winter time there are quite a few enclosures with nothing in. The cafe is reasonably priced.

Had a lovely day at Chester Zoo. Booked online before arrival which was cheaper than paying on the gate. Great variety of animals to see and easy to navigate. Would highly recommend a visit.

I have been visiting the zoo since childhood and have always enjoyed my previous visits. We were rather disappointed this time though. The Enchanted zoo theming was good and my little ones enjoyed collecting her test tube of coloured sand from various locations. The map...More
