we went to chester to watch the racing but what we ended up watching was racing on giant screens because after we admired the amazing thoroughbreds in the paddock we had to use the subway under the course to enter the stands but because most...More

The sound of horse hooves pounding on the turf with the sight of horses thundering towards you is exciting, place a bet on a horse and have a drink to spice it up and you have the perfect cocktail. There are many places to put...More

I have recently been to the races for the first time. And on my, what a wonderful day! We went to the County Concourse - there was such a great atmosphere and it was easy to see all the races. Staff all worked extremely hard!...More

Great place. Clean and tidy just a shortage of seats and the Pimm's price is extreme. Very slow service at the bar. If more bar staff was employed people would purchase more which would cover the cost and more.

Admittedly we were fortunate to be in the owners enclosure but we did look around the course and everything was tip top. The food we had was the best buffet style I've ever seen and I've worked at racecourses on the hospitality side. We were...More

On a 'Big Race Day', ensure you get there early to ensure a space to watch the races. Bit of a 'scuffle' at the bar as the afternoon wears on.
