Fantastic venue for a wedding ceremony and a venue for a reception afterwards. The staff were very good and attentive, and friendly. The inside decorations, woodwork and paintings are a sight to behold. We wish we had had more time to explore the whole building.

We visited this beautiful building for a family wedding. It’s very impressive with lots of history. There wasn’t enough time to take it all in but well worth a visit.

It is a grand building made of sandstone and over 160 feet tall which was opened in 1869. It blends in with many of the surrounding buildings particularly the cathedral which is directly opposite. The Town Hall is regularly used for weddings and other private...More
