Buses are overcrowded with standing room only after st ives. Not frequent enough- if you miss one it is 15mins till the next one even at peak times. Bumpy ride too.

Don't bother with taxis in Cambridge. The bus system is extensive and easy to use. We opted for a one-week pass which definitely saves you money, and the drivers are unfailingly polite and very helpful.
