Just popped in for a beer! Nice homely feel to the place and the staff mostly seemed pleasant and chatty! Lots of weird stuff up above the shelf I wanted to touch!

Our home from home local when in Cambridge. Friendly, knowledgable service, especially with advice on the extensive and delicious Belgian Beer Menu. Nothing ever too much trouble. We can even picnic our own food here which we respectfully observe bringing light non-stinky bites for lunch....More

That’s it really... except it isn’t, it is a great pub on so many levels, but for me the best thing is the outstanding Belgian beer selection in the menu and the eight real ales... this is how pubs should be and just occasionally they...More

Cosy pub with a real ale emphasis. Also a large range of bottled Belgian beers to sample. Simply furnished and adorned with beer memorabilia. Well worth seeking out in a walk around the city

If you like Belgian beer, well worth it. Populated by a quirky local crowd with live music sometimes. No card machine.

This is a lovely pub to visit and they also support live music and poetry which is to their great credit. I tell all my friends to go if they are visiting Cambridge as it is the opposite of an anodyne soulless experience!

I can see why it's been two years since my last visit. Let's start with the most important bit, the beer. I had a half of Comfortably Numb (the whole reason I visited was for this beer). The beer had not been looked after particularly...More
