Good luck on accessing this little treat, unless you are with a Clare college member or fellow. It is a delightful, green, and peaceful oasis encroaching on the River Cam that is a fabulous retreat from the touristy bustle of central Cambridge

Beautiful in all seasons, but particularly so in early autumn when dahlias are in bloom. Great view of the river and colleges.

We were eating in Clare College and attended a pre-dinner drinks function in the Clare Fellows' Garden. The setting was perfect for a warm evening event, the gardens are well kept and the setting and location were perfect. The staff were attentive and not intrusive

Lovely gentleman on the gate. The gardens were stunning, the weather was perfect. Standing on the bridge over the river provided beautiful views.

We loved wandering through these gardens during our visit, even 12yo nephew was captivated by their beauty. In August the flowers in bloom created such a colourful picture and despite Cambridge being very busy there was a real air of tranquility.

I visited this place on a very hot summers day and it was bliss. It isn't often open to the public so if you get the chance to visit then do pop in.
