The Angel Bookshop is an independent bookshop in the centre of Cambridge, just off King's Parade. All of our books are heavily discounted - half price or less. We also stock a range of book-related children's toys, aprons, bags and musical instruments, as well as a wide selection of cards. We have just been nominated for a Retas Greeting Card Award in the category 'Best Non-Specialist Independent Retailer of Greeting Cards'. Check out our services and stock at our new website.

It's must be one heck of a shop but now it's closed. We wanted to visit based on rave reviews from others but we were bit too late to experience ourselves....

This is a lovely bookshop, with a really nice selection over the two floors. I particularly like the fiction and the children's section, as well as the bargains downstairs. Nicely presented and I always enjoy shopping here.

This bookshop is wonderful and in addition sells little handmade toys as well. The selection is great with childrens books which you don't usually see in the bigger stores.

A nice combination of bookshop and toy shop, with a wide selection of each. We found some nice educational toys, as well as an interesting collection of humorous greeting cards.

The Angel Bookshop reminds us of what we have lost through chain-stores and Amazon. It has an interesting selection of books at very good prices, some of the nicest children's soft-toys that I have seen, as well as interesting and unusual cards and wrapping paper....More

A lovely little bookshop that makes shopping for presents for children and families easy. All the choices of childrens books seem to be good, there's a wide range, and they're at an excellent price.
