My son and I really enjoyed the park and the pool. Overall it was very clean. The small shop was reasonably priced. The play area was suitable for toddlers- teens. There was a real wasp issue around the pool and park which made it difficult to have the picnic intended or play on a slide. Would definitely recommend without the... More

Sheeps Green is a picturesque and wild water meadow along the River Cam wirth a few places to sit and some mowed paths. Great for a pic nic. Lammas Land is a more formal open space nearby with tennis courts a great adventure playground as well as a HUGE paddling pool. Not sure about the tennis courts but the rest... More

This is a great park with lots of open space for ball games and picnics, plentiful and interesting play equipment and a splash pool. There is also a good kiosk selling ice creams, hot drinks and inflatables for the pool all at a reasonable price. This all makes for a great place to spend a sunny afternoon or even longer... More

Lammas Land is a place of indefinable niceness. It is situated in a particularly genteel and civilised part of Cambridge. Perhaps the Bloomsbury Set strolled along the riverbank here, or Ted Hughes sat under the willows and dashed off words poetical, or C S Lewis might have sat thoughtfully wishing he had forsaken Oxford for Cambridge much earlier in his... Fantastic place for all kids, loads of swings, slides and other climbing activities for kids. Only down side is there is not a smaller paddling pool for younger babies. However my 2 and a half year old boy loved it..

There aren't many play parks you would want to stay in for more than an hour, but this one just has so many different things for the kids to discover that we stayed for 4 hours! It's an easy 10 minute walk from the Mill & central Cambridge across the meadows (where the cows are usually grazing). It's long for... More

Absolutely lovely park and paddling pool, brilliant for toddlers. But you need to get there pretty soon after the car park opens at 10 to get in on sunny days, it fills up really quickly!
