I have known this place for many years. Compared with many urban parks this is rather 'sterile'. It's main offering is some grass to sit or lie on in summer and the occasional event. It is featureless and would be enhanced by peripheral ornamental planting.

I used to play around in Parker’s Piece when I was studying at Cambridge many years ago. Revisited as I was staying at the newly re-opened Cambridge University Arms. An ok park, but nothing special.

I really like Parker's Piece. It is expansive and has nice sidewalks throughout. It's a pleasant stroll through the park, watching couples picnic and kids play. Sometimes there are small festivals happening which make it more bustling.

A lovely park near the middle of Cambridge. Interesting little pavillion. Great for a picnic and to watch the cricket.

This wonderful green space, central to town and facilities is a great resource for democracy...a rallying point for many a gathering, rally, demonstration and speech: the peoples place!

This superb park remains as a beauty of Cambridge having little changed since I came across it for my first time nearly 62 years ago. Really superb but much busier now.

Always incredibly busy during hot, summer days and the perfect place to gather with the disposable BBQ, drink and enjoy the brilliant weather currently. Also, pleasant just to sit back and watch the occasional cricket match which takes place close to the pavilion.

A lovely open space to enjoy the beauties of Cambridge. In the heart of Cambridge, Parkers Piece is easily accessible and available to all.

Always lots of people using this wide open space. Don't forget to take a look at the "Reality Checkpoint" light post at the intersection of the paths in the middle of the park!

Walked across this during the afternoon on 23rd July - it is certainly suffering from the continued hot weather and all is very dry and yellow - a far cry from the normal fresh green. However there were still lots sat across the area.
