We visited here just to sit in the gardens - amazing fragrant wisteria covering the front of building late April/early May. Quiet relaxing gardens with benches to sit and relax away from the cities hustle & bustle!

I was lucky enough to be attending a conference in Cambridge after term end, so the College was renting out its rooms. My room was spacious, private and comfortable. But above all you can't match the environment .... or the location.

This is one of the most central colleges and like all is beautifully kept. The porters here are particularly helpful with one of them even bringing more bedding to our room one evening. The attraction here is Charles Darwin and there is a room with his name on it on the main quadrangle. There are one or two sculptures around... More

I have visited Cambridge for business purposes and I made a booking online to stay in this college. All went so smooth; staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was average but met with my requirement. I had to use shared bathroom/WC but it was also my choice and I am glad I have done that. It was... More

This is another college of Cambridge university. The buildings are beautiful. They also have a cafe like other colleges.

My wife and I had some difficulty finding Christ's College, finally getting aid from a couple of guys with smart phones. Admission wasn't allowed, but we were permitted to take pictures looking into the first court. There was also information in the gate-house about Darwin's stay at Christ's College, and we photographed that as well. This is not a must-see... More

Okay, full disclosure: I attended Christ's College, so my view may be a little biased. However, Christ's is a beautiful, small college, laid out in four 'courts'. First court includes cobblestones and some of the college's older buildings, with some being remnants from as far back as 500 years ago. There is also the Master's Lodge, which is especially recognisable... More

My favourite college. Three courts of contrasting architecture. The chapel is a must and if you're there on a weekday you can take a stroll through the garden and take a peek at one of the country's oldest swimming pools.
