What a gem in the centre of Cambridge. Could spend a long time in this museum and art gallery. Extensive collection of Egyptian artefacts, amazing art collection, artists too numerous to mention. The building itself is worth visiting. Will definitely return

The Ftizwilliam is a perfect small museum, giving a range of fantastic art and artefacts. The art is gives a fantastic range of styles. A great place to learn and experience history from the UK and the world.

Most Cambridge students (Carpetman was no exception) and tourists fail to visit this wonderful and varied museum. Don't miss the exquisite exhibits in the Rothschild Gallery or the 19th and 20th century paintings and sculptures. The Courtyard Cafe does a great light lunch.

Clear maps and signage. Excellent exhibition... clear information. Just big enough! Would have liked more access to magnifiers!

Travelling around Europe one is impressed with the range of museums there are on offer. This is one of the nicest places we have been, small and intimate. The audio guides are good , the Egyptian antiquities were my favourite.

a great museum where you can browse ancient and modern artefacts, well curated in wonderful rooms. There are also changing exhibitions through the year. The quality of things on display is excellent and the information provided is helpful and informative. Great shop and cafe too.
