On a recent holiday in Wiltshire we decided to visit the Bridge whilst in the area. The information centre nicely compliments the bridge and best of all it is free.

I hate heights so drove across rather than walk. The view is magnificent, more attractive when the tide is in. Certainly a sight not to be missed. Cars along the road below look like Dinkie ars.

This used to be in a portacabin right on the Bristol/Somerset boundary on the left leaving the bridge. It has now moved to a larger building on the other side; it is just in Somerset. It is on two floors and is free of charge...More

This tells you about the building of the bridge and the people involved. They have an education service with a teaching room if you have an organised party. The volunteers ask for a donation to help cover the costs. Well worth a visit when crossing...More
