Been coming here for years with bikes, kids and dogs. Shame they’ve now let a catering van into the car park. What was once a very scenic spot away from some of life’s commercial trappings is now encouraging us to eat more sweets and drink...More

we parked here because we thought it would be a good base to walk down to the Avon gorge along the river and back up, there is not one single signpost anywhere. The only thing that is marked are the cycle paths. Worst still the...More

Great space for walking with designated areas for mountain bikers. Picnic tables next to the car park and a van serving very nice and reasonably priced hot drinks and cake.

The driveway to the car park is full of potholes so watch out for them! Relatively short and easy walks, lovely little bit of countryside in a city. Even if you get a little lost, not to worry as it's not a large area to...More

The woods are lovely, but also Leigh court is a fantastic but not too expensive venue compared to other grand houses and the service is exceptional. We had an anniversary party and everyone loved it. Great BBQ food.

A lovely place for walking the dog (or parrot) or for a cycle ride. Clear paths and routes through the woods. The 20 century cement does nothing to improve the old grotto and in the summer the view of the river is blocked by overgrown...More
