Great Course!

Had a brilliant time on the course which was very well kept. Required the mobile google maps to play, could have done with some tee markers.

The idea of this is great, but in practice it's quite difficult to negotiate....the starting point is hard to find (in fact we didn't find it). The targets are good, but there is no signposting at all and there is no indication of the starting point for each "hole". The cafe where you can hire the discs is a good... More

I went with my husband and had a great time, we did struggle finding some of the baskets but we still had a great time.

Myself, boyfriend and Craig love Disc Golf, we think the course is great fun specially for beginners and intermediates. Definitely a must try, all weathers! No fee to play but you can rent real Disc Golf discs in the cafe.

After experiencing Disc Golf courses in various spots around the world, I finally got around to visiting our local Disc Golf course today. Needless to say, I was disappointed that it hasn't been maintained. As previous comments mention, starting points for a lot of the holes are missing and the map provided, doesn't match to some of the trees. I... More

I live in Bristol and have been keen to try this course for a while. I finally got the chance to go over to Ashton Court, after we parked we saw one of the baskets and headed towards the direction of the course however we couldn't figure out the starting point?? So we bought up the course map on my... More

Great disc golf course. Makes good use of terrain and natural hazards. Ashton is popular with dog owners, horse riders, joggers, cyclists and families. The golf course does not conflict with these diverse groups but golfers should be aware of their surroundings while playing. Do not damage the nature - it gives disc golfers a bad name and the course... More

What a fantastic weekend, weather was good and surroundings stunning. Lovely well set out course, set in a beautiful park, with stunning views. Excellent on site facilities and great accomodation nearby. Well worth a visit, we shall certainly be coming back to Bristol this summer, Chris, Harwich, Essex

Glad you enjoyed your game. As a council run and managed site with SSSI and grade 2 listing with special management by English nature governs what signs and information around the course. I too wish they'd agree to full tee signage, astroturf tee pads, etc etc but it is currently impossible. Improved sign at the start of the course are... More

Great fun and definitely something to do with a spare afternoon. Brilliant for kids as well as adults and accessible to all. If first time out would probably be better to contact the club to see if someone can join you for a round to give tips etc. They are a very friendly bunch!
