An eclectic mix of artifacts about the history of Bristol free entry donation required could spend hours if had more time. Came specially to see Bankys Grim Reaper which has a permanent home here. With more time I would definitely recommend you visit.

Quick stop here whilst visiting the museum. Good selection of cakes on offer. We shared a delicious flapjack with our tea and coffee. There is a short menu that looked appealing and fairly priced. The cafe is quite small and seats were in demand. There...More

This is a great museum, telling the story of Bristol. Well presented and easy to navigate. For those that remember the old Industrial Museum (which the M Shed replaced) the old double decker bus is still there! Free of charge which means that it does...More

I go there often with my friends. It is a nice place where to drink good beers and eat well cooked food. I like the view too.

Excellent exhibition on until April. Well worth a visit. Stunning photos; each telling a story, of which some are deeply disquieting with regard to animal cruelty and environmental issues. Allow a couple of hours, and then there's the rest of the M Shed to browse...More

Been a few times, it's in a good part of Bristol, near the docks, and they've done a nice job. The ground floor we liked the best, has a map of the city on the floor, good for the kids trying to find our house,...More

Bristol tells stories about itself very well and the M Shed museum's central position by the harbour is very attractive. Most galleries are free, although the current Wildlife Photography of the Year Show is a rather expensive £6. Well worth visiting.
