An excellent exhibition space - with some superb work to boot. Saw the exhibition by Basin Magdi. Though provoking. Edgy. Memorable art. Well done for bringing it here, Arnolfini!

Arnolfini Harbourside Bristol This cafe is part of the Contemporary Art Museum and is situated by the water in Harbourside, Bristol. The staff are very Friendly, Efficient and they have very tasty dishes. I chose Smashed avocado and Poached Eggs on Sourdough Toast with tomato and Corriander which sounded intriguing and tasted fantastique. My wife was very pleased with her... More

This is the perfect place to visit on a sunny day. Positioned in the head of Bristol right on the waterfront and next to Peros bridge. I was there for the artist book fair which I'd never been to before. Fascinating speaking to the creators themselves. It was so hot people were buying drinks and food and spilling out onto... More

Travelled by car to Bristol for the Film festival and was able to park within 3 minutes walk of the venue. Great place for innovative theatre and films. The car park was expensive though.

A good gallery all in all, tends towards somewhat more esoteric work which usually thinks it's a tiny bit cleverer than it is. Some jewels in there though.

This place is large, white and spacious inside and it is a great space for events. I visited a UWE event and Shopify tour here. both were organised very well and all the staff was very helpful.

This exhibition is amazing! Figures wrought out of marble dust and resin including life-size horse, swan, monkey, lamb! And a room full of strange enormous cacti, a room lined with resin foliage, etc etc! Really mind-blowing stuff! She also knits her own cacti etc!!

As an interested layman I occasionally pop into the Arnolfini to see their exhibits of contemporary art. This time there was a solo exhibition by Daphne Wright called "Emotional Archaeology", covering galleries in three floors. This included some very delicate large & small sculptures made from marble dust & resin, I was rightly advised not to carry my rucksack into... More

My husband and I are in our 60s and keen visitors to museums and art galleries. Like some other rather trendy galleries, we had a rather mixed reception at the Arnolfini - the gallery supervisors were welcoming and informative and added to our appreciation of the really excellent exhibition which was on show. They encouraged us to explore the reading... More

The Arnolfini is right by Bristol's vibrant harbourside - a delightful small-ish gallery. You can take in the A'fini on a delightful circular harbour-side walk. Close to restaurants, coffee shops etc. Exhibitions well worth exploring (for free). 1 hour at least plus refreshments
