We came in via a cruise ship shore excursion. The wine was beautiful and the estate was gorgeous but the 2 older ladies showed very little passion in their work and the product they were selling. I also didn't appreciate being asked for ID at 34 years of age.

This was such a privilege to visit such an iconic Cellar Door, we even met and chatted with Mark Nobilo whilst we were there. The ladies in the tasting room had excellent knowledge and made the visit very special.

The two ladies were very friendly and knowledgable sharing their expertise and passion. I enjoyed learning about the stories behind the wine as we tasted it. The wines... More

They have a good set-up for wine tasting and tours of the winery. Staff are knowledgeable and happy to help, give advice and talk wine.

Well worth a visit to what has now become the largest winery group in New Zealand...but it does not feel like that. The lady serving was very helpful, delightful sense of humour and very happy for you to taste the full range of wines on offer. You can also pick up some other wines out of the Hardy's stable if... OK...maybe we are biased being a tour operator and visit the Nobilo winery on our west Auckland Eco-tour. But it is due to the fact that this winery is one of the Kumeu's original wineries, that we visit there. Not only do individuals not pay for a wine-tasting, but the staff have excellent knowledge about their product. The winery has... More
