Best part of our trip was biking from Dennis to Chatham - ate at Squires, then rode to Brewster a total of 30 miles. Ran 22 miles on trail as well one day. Beautiful scenery, little snack shop on way to Brewster, smooth asphalt, crosswalks marked and cars stop. 2 bike shops along trail both open. Lots of cranberry bogs,... More

This is a fabulous biking or hiking trail. You can travel the entire cape if you would like. And along the way the trail meanders past lots of ponds and parts of the bay. There are lots of little spots along the trail to stop and get something to eat or drink, for example if you bike into the town... More

One of the top tourist draws to the Cape, and rightly so. This paved, dedicated pedestrian trail currently runs from Wellfleet to Dennis, with a spur leading to Chatham. Re-surfaced around 2010, most is in excellent condition. Road crossings are well defined, one of the busier stretches near Long Pond having solar-powered caution lights. With the exception of a few... More

I rented my bike at the western terminus of the trail, and set out towards Wellfleet. It seemed like I was at the bike rotary in no time, and in just under two hours I was at the northern end. Timing was good, as I was ready for lunch and took advantage of a most excellent French bistro about 50... More

Travelled in September off-season, hired bikes & had a wonderful scenic ride to Chatham. Because the path is paved, it was great to cycle along. There are beautiful lake views all along the trail & Chatham itself is delightful to visit. Electric bikes are easy & fun. I hired mine from Pedego Cape Cod which is easy to find on... More

We had a hard time finding a 'trail head' and once it was found (by the fire station), we took off. We thought we were on the Chatham Bike Trail which supposedly sort of circles the city. Imagine our surprise when we saw "Welcome to Hartwich". Our little 5 mile bike ride ended up being closer to 12-14 miles. So....yes,... More

Went on a day trip to east Falmouth Mass., to the Cape Cod Fairgrounds. It was a nice day when we arrived we all bought tickets for the scallop dinner, they also had a chicken dinner too. They both came with French fries ,coleslaw, and a can of soda. The scallops were some of the best I had ever had,... More

Riding the Cape Cod bike trails, whether you bring your own bike or rent one from the numerous bike shops that have located near the trail, is one of the best things to do on the Cape. The trail is mostly flat and a great ride for the novice as well as the experienced bike rider. When you ride, remember... More
