We arrived mid morning on Thanksgiving Sunday and found ample parking. We went clockwise around the trail, walking through the beautiful open forest at first. The trail opens up to the rocky beach from where we could see hundreds of seals on the beach of...More

Wide paths so you can walk and talk. So many beautiful photo ops - forest, cliffs, golden grasses, etc. About 90 minutes depending how often you stop and ogle the scenery.

Wonderful easy walk through old growth forest. Memorable seaside views. We actually ate some raw oysters right out of the sea at low tide (carefully choosing the spot). Best Hornby experience!

Tranquil forest trails lead to windswept bluffs, quiet beaches, and islands that can be accessed by foot during low tide. While the hikes themselves are not strenuous, the pathways can be challenging due to exposed tree roots and roots. During our visits, we encountered both...More

Helliwell is a terrific easy walk in the park, located on Hornby Island. We went on a chilly but sunny day in March and had just the best day ever. Anyone can do this walk and the views are simply gorgeous.
