Visited Hornby on a weekday in March and swung by to take a look to see if the owner is there. I was very glad that he was home and opened the door to me. Told me he just finished an upgrade. Pete used to drive icebreaker ships in offshore drilling. He is indeed very chill, but he has this... More

The gin and vodka made at this distillery are innovative and excellent quality. A fun afternoon of tasting, bring your wallet you won't want to leave without some "for home" and "for gifts" purchases.

The hardest thing you'll have to do, once you find the Distillery, is choose your products. Too many for most budgets to buy one of each, you'll have to choose. You might need a designated driver if you have trouble making decisions. A fun way to spend some time, with a very knowledgeable owner, Pete and his world class, boutique... More

One of the world's best gins in my opinion. And the experience of spending time with the distiller and learning all about his passion is worth a visit. Take a designated driver.

If you love gin, this is the place for you! You can stop in and try out the many flavors of craft distilled Phrog gin (and a variety of other liquors) at their little bar. Peter, one of the owners, seems only too happy to chat with customers about the distillery and its products. We got to taste the full... More

During our stay on Hornby Island we kept hearing, go to the distillery. From locals to tourists and from other attractions. If you were to do one thing other than enjoy the beaches of this quaint island go see the great people at this distillery. We met Rayna who helped us thru the gin, vodka, scotch, and grappa tastings. We... More

The signs to get there aren't great (small white circles with a black frog on them attached to tree trunks on the way there), but once you make it in it's a great little spot. The distillery is quaint, but the equipment is state of the art - and the drinks are all smooth! We walked about with the elderberry... More

While we enjoyed the tastings, the kids enjoyed the chickens, ducks, koi pond and Ginger the cat. Brown Vodka was very interesting, as well as the many Gins. Check it out.
