Outstanding scenery from the wharf and such a beautiful village. At the time we were there in early November the end of the wharf area was full of huge seals - sea lions. Making all sorts of noise - beautiful to see so close up....More

Take the seaside route instead of the Trans Canada highway after passing the Malahat and you drive through the seaside village of Cowichan Bay. There are lots of shops, galleries etc. Park and walk to the warf. Very picturesque and we could see the sea...More

Parking can be hard to find nearby the wharf. Adjacent to many businesses and places to eat. Nice scenery, lots of boats and fresh air. In the summer, some weekends may offer activities that are an interest for the whole family.
