This waterfall was worth the hike! A beautiful cascade of water makes for amazing pictures. And the hike to arrive at the falls isn't too long or strenuous with STUNNING views along the way. Worth a see.

The trail to the Lower Bertha Falls begins on Evergreen Street in the town of Waterton, just past Cameron Falls. It is the same trail that ultimately leads to Bertha Lake. The relatively short hike to the waterfalls is a popular one and the trail is well-maintained and has some gorgeous views of the surrounding landscapes along the way. The... More

Great access. It is right in the town, you can drive right up to it. If you feel like hiking you can leave from just down the road and hike up to Bertha Lake.

This is about a 4 mile round trip. The actual start point can be a bit tricky to find from the town. But the trail up is pretty easy and very popular- the first half is steeper and rockier than the 2nd half. On reaching the falls you can hike another 1000 ft hike up to Bertha Lake .

Take a packed lunch and head to the falls for a 90min hike that gently inclines. Fantastic viewing areas and great place to sit and have lunch at the falls. You can continue onto the lakes if you fancy a more elevated hike for another 2 miles.

One of the best hikes of Waterton, this trail will eventually take you to Bertha Falls. About 2.5 km one way to the falls, this trail affords you many wonderful photo opportunities of Waterton Lake. An easy hike without extreme vertical inclines. Will take you a couple hours roundtrip if you turn around at the falls.

We hiked to Bertha Falls as a group of 11. A good hike for different levels as 4 of our group turned around at the falls and the remaining 7 went on to hike to Bertha Lake. A rainy and cold day but the lake up top was so serene. Great hike, would do it again and recommend it to... More

Really great hike! It's pretty steep, but the view at the end is absolutely spectacular. Lots of different types of scenery and a lot of different view points.Make sure you have good sturdy shoes, extra layers and a lunch to enjoy at the lake! Bertha took us about 8 hours to complete.
