A rather short, pleasant walk through forest (watch for the nettles) brings you out to great vistas from Bodega Ridge. BC wildfires made our views a bit hazy, but beautiful nonetheless. The walk does take one along a ridge so best to pay attention.

Moderate is the right word for this park. Moderate effort, moderate distance, and moderate view. If you have extra time to kill then it might be worth the effort but if you don't then do the Mount Galiano hike instead.

The most difficult thing about this hike is finding it! Look for Cottage Bay Rd. The hike leads you through pristine old growth forest and up to marvellous vistas of the Gulf Islands.

A great hike to some amazing views. Relatively easy hike until you hit a tree bridge across a ravine which we chose not to attempt.

What a hike. If you like a relatively short, but spectacular hike, then venture into this little piece of BC paradise.

A pleasant hike with great views. The first part of the trail takes you through woodlands for a mile or so. There are no panorama views here. You then come to an open meadow that gives views of Trincomali channel and all its islands, you...More

Whenever I'm on Galiano Island I try to get to Bodega Ridge. Today was no exception. The views are lovely, the physical exertion to get the views is pretty minimal. Most hikes up there I've seen bald eagles, and often there is a tree full...More
