The Dovedale Stepping Stones are a stunning man-made bridge in a stunning natural valley, in the South of the Peak District. Highly recommend going during the week out of season!

The Dovedale Stepping Stones is one the most famous sights in Derbyshire, often photographed with Thorpe Cloud limestone hill in the background. The carpark (£3) is only a short walk away from the stones and Dovedale. The carpark also contains toilets and a refreshment hut....More

Worth a visit. Parking was only £3 and plenty. Views stunning and areas for picnics. Lovely walk. 20 mins approx to the stones and a further 45mins to caves etc. We had a pushchair which was fairly easy to navigate around.

Like the previous answers the left hand side is hard path. But even in October after a little rain the path was flooded so I would expect at the moment it would be too. Pack your wellies?
