Just visited today. It’s beautifully done and a warm welcome from Sir Richard. I would recommend you go ! It’s only open for this weekend and the next two weekends but go for it. It’s lovely and quite traditional.

Went there with a group for a weekend. The chicken was extremely tough. Most people left it. We informed the waitress and asked her to tell the chief. Absolutely no reaction. The breakfasts where ok. So my recommendation is go out for your evening meal.More

Huge house but only some rooms open. Guided tour. Our guide, Polly, was first class with a fascinating talk built around the family history. We were also lucky to get an introduction by the current owner. Some gardens to go round as well. Worth taking...More
