We took the trouble to read all the literature before our visit, we planed our day with this in mind and we we're not disappointed, we were however blessed with a very sunny day. Well worth a visit just to take in the scenery. Enjoy

Absolutely beautiful place. We visited today. National trust staff very friendly and helpful. The weather made it perfect. Plenty of space for a picnic. Lovely walks. Recommend the longer walk to the stepping stones. Really enjoyed our day

Most beautiful scenery, ideal for a leisurely stroll, banks full of wild garlic, fields of sheep and lambs, rabbits etc, nature at its best and at the end a lovelt tea room with homemade cakes etc.

It's correct that the National Trust shop and tea room close between 4pm and 5pm (depending on the time of year), but that the grounds of Ilam Park remain open for everyone to enjoy all day, every day.
