This is a beautiful beach, the dunes are incredible. The price to pay for parking though is ridiculous. We only went for 2 hours but were forced to pay the full day price (approx $11)

Better for Family with kids: less windy, warmer water, less waves so better for swimming then the big Sandbanks Park. Can be more crowded for the long weekends...

This is a wonderful beach for kids; roped off and safe, nice and shallow and warm. Not only that, you can climb the sand dunes right next to the beach!

Kids enjoyed running down the hills into the water. Beach was somewhat dirty (seaweed, grass) and water smelled. Small beach area.

Great beach for families with little kids, it’s shallow and sand is great! Little restaurant and bathrooms close by, parking was full but the beach didn’t feel crowded.
