The Bog Trail is a truly unique space within the Pacific Rim National Park. It offers a complex, fragile counterpoint to everything else you’re likely to see in the park. The great majority of Pacific Rim is covered in ancient, lush, green rainforest flora and...More

Kennedy River Bog Provincial Park Ucluelet British Columbia, we were lucky enough to stay in Ucluelet for 3 days in June 2018. An enjoyable boardwalk thru the bogs, great wildlife.

this short boardwalk has trees supposed to be hundreds of years old. I don't think I saw on that was more than 4 meters tall. Amazing that this is nature right on our doorstep.

This is a good walk if you like looking at trees and bird life. it is an easy walk and not to long. It gives you another view of what you can see around Ucluelet that is easily accessible.

This is a fun little walk through the bog. Some interesting plants and trees compared to what else is in the area. The board walk is great but be careful if it is raining as it can get slippery.

This site is not expected as it lies between one of the most scenic wild coast beaches and rain forests. The bog is well signed and boardwalked so you seem to float on top. Well worth the time to go.

We visited in June, 2016 and it was nice but there was not much to see. The sights were nice enough but you don't notice much except the fact it is woods. It was not bad, not great.

The bog Trail is a 0.8km boardwalk loop which receives approx 300mm rain per year. The easy to walk loop takes you past stunted and twisted pinetrees hundreds of years old and only a meter high. Not your average forrest.

We really enjoyed wandering around on this trail. It's not a very long walk. It's a nice, easy loop through the park, and as the previous reviewer mentioned, it would be enjoyable at any time of year.
