Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great walking paths absolutely loved it here. Great place to take photos, family friendly, toilets on site and park benches to sit on all through the walk!

If you enjoy visiting Lighthouses, then this is a very easy stop while in Ucluelet, BC. It's easy to find the location in town, with plenty of free parking, and a well-groomed short trail to the water. I noticed this visit that they do not allow direct access to the lighthouse anymore, but there are still many vantage points to view and photograph.

On a clear day you can see for miles, but today we scored big because there was a low-lying fog over the water, which meant we had that lovely fog horn blowing a west coast song into our souls! And good news: they are currently building a large 'viewing-structure' so looking forward to seeing this when completed. Totally recommend you visit here, Cheers!

The Amphitrite Point Lighthouse, linked as it is into the Wild Pacific Trail, enlightens with its learning resources located in the historic lighthouse building, as it invigorates as one comes across it walking in the Pacific Trail loop.
It attracts locals & visitors alike with its spectacular outlook but it is an easy walk & for all ages, with its many openings from which to view the crashing Pacific waves or examine the rainforest surrounds.
It is wonderful that it has been developed into a museum & learning resource, as well as an important point on the Wild West Trail.

Maybe those living at the Noth Sea have different expectations on a light house. At least it was a good laughter :-)

The unusual looking lighthouse stands proud on the peninsular looking out over the pacific. Set on the Wild Pacific trail it is surrounded by interesting coves and woodland

Beautiful walk and lighthouse suitable for all ages and abilities. We pushed our stroller around the loop and had no difficulty. Give yourself at least 2 hours here as you will want to stop at every viewpoint for pictures. The lighthouse itself is also very well maintained beautiful. We can’t wait to come back.

This lighthouse, with its accompanying lighthouse keeper’s house, is located on the spirit-lifting Wild Pacific Tail, in the coastal rainforest of Vancouver Island’s west coast, in the ocean village of Ucluelet.
It had some earlier reincarnations but the concrete structures, which is now incorporated in the Wild Pacific Trail — built to withstand the fierce storms the region experiences -- was opened in 1915.
It was automated in 1988, then becoming a resource for visitors and locals alike.
A few years back, Ucluelet received both Federal and Provincial money to further develop it into an educational center at which to learn about the region and its long history.
Watch this spot.
