This is a nice and close lake to spend the day at with family and friends close to Calgary. There are year around activities from boating to ice fishing so there is something for everyone.

The new renovations to the boat launch are great. New washrooms, paved parking lot and docks. What a huge improvement. The parking lot is not large enough ... so go early to get good parking. Fishing was good, but we didn't catch anything... probably due...More

A group of us went boating from Calgary and it is so nice that its close to the city. The water was great, not too crowded and good place to relax.

Ghost Reservoir recreational Area is a glacier fed man made lake and dam at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It consists the waterways, a camping area and walking and hiking trails. It is also a haven for boats, canoe's and other water sports.
