The sights were spectacular in Lighthouse park I would highly recommend. Some of the trails are a bit hard with all the ups and downs so not for novice hikers or walkers. The sole reason I did not rate this five stars is because the...More

Just the perfect way to see another side of Vancouver with the most incredible views and so many points along the way. Really quiet compared to lots of places, and such a good way to see Downtown from across the water - really fantastic views.

Nice walks in a secluded rainforest atmosphere. Lots of mossy drapes hanging from the trees and other vegetation. Signposts in the carpark highlighted the routes and gave good indication of the difficulty of some of the terrain. However in the park there was a lack...More

Walked the Valley of the Giants, Arbutus and East Beach walks. Many intersections were not marked so you need the map and some navigation skills. Also the tracks are not very well maintained so some are more like creeks and very rutted which was OK...More

Great views across the water. Some paths and trails a bit challenging, but worth the effort. Try to pick weekdays when less people around.

This walk was a bit strenuous for some in our party, it is a nice walk through some beautiful woods downhill all the way to the lighthouse, but coming back was all uphill.

I have been to this park often, and my favourite memories are of the little dogs scampering about. Regardless of dogs or no dogs, the best thing about this park is the beautiful views and sniffing the fresh air. please go just for walking about...More

Lovely hike with many different path options depending on your desired hike length/difficulty. There are numerous lookout points that offer stunning views of the ocean below. I'd say the hike isn't too challenging, but you should have proper shoes, as the paths can be quite...More

I try to make my husband go to the ends of the world to see lighthouses.  This, however, was very disappointing, because you have to walk down a very hilly trail about 3/4 of a mile, then walk up some pretty steep rocks, where you...More

Visited Lighthouse Park this past weekend and should have been back sooner. It is all fine and well to follow the road to the lighthouse but the real fun are the off the beaten path side trails. Some lead to picturesque little beaches and others...More

There isn't any overflow parking but there are a number of residential side streets that are 5-10 min from the park entrance. When we were there, we actually parked 3 streets down and asked one of the city bylaw officers who... More
