Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First time to Stradbroke Island. Supposed to go sandboarding with a group of friends. Unfortunately, terrible weather that day.

Hi Pam, I believe you have the wrong business? If it was with us, when was your tour? and was it only ok because of the weather or was there something else that you thought could improve?

We booked Tony Ward to take us 4 wheelin in the beach sand at Stradbroke Island. He went out of his way to make our trip amazing. From the cruise in his boat to his jeep he entertained us with stories & history of the island. The sand tobogganing was the highlight!! Tony's easy going personality was a perfect fit to a perfect day of cruising & wandering the beaches. Thx Tony

Tony and son Connor were just amazing, friendly and really knowledgable about the area. So respectful of the natural habitat and catered to all our needs.
We travelled with a diverse group, including our older friends with limited mobility to the youngest being 9 years.
Riding the sand dunes was so much fun for the kids and even this old duck!!!
Thanks Tony and Connor - hopefully if we come back this way we will see you again !!

Tony was so much fun and had so many fun facts to share - we had the best afternoon 4WDing and being shown some amazing sites and a spot of dune tobogganing and lagoon swimming!

This was a fun tour of the island. Tony is a great host and his knowledge of the area is excellent, we totally enjoyed ourselves especially the sand boarding.
Would recommend this tour. It's a good idea to take water, togs & a towel for a swim he has a nice spot for a dip.

A must do if you are visiting South Stradbroke Island. Get to know the colourful history of the island from a local who has lived on the island for years. See all the island's beauty, learn about the wide life and visit aboriginal sites.
It was a fantastic fun filled day 4WDriving along the beach all the way south to the "Seaway" and stopping for a surf, then heading back up south stopped for a spot of sand dune surfing before heading further north to "Jumpinpin" for a swim and lunch. Then stopped on the way back to visit an Aboriginal site.

Tony was super nice and very informative. We had a lovely outing to jumpinpin in his 4x4 and got to do some dune surfing, catching yabbies and just taking in the beautiful view of South Stradbroke Island. Well worth it!
