Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I went to the little coffee shop at the entry to Sovereign Island for a coffee catch up with a couple of friends. It was a nice experience but did not get a chance to return until a couple of weeks ago.
When we got there we discovered it is now closed permanently.

A must see- fabulous homes, great boats, great views, great parks - how lucky are these residents once over the bridge they live in such a calm and peaceful existence away from a world of mayhem.

Lots of expensive houses and the excellent thing is that the general public are allowed to utilise the wharves.

A lot of people wonder how luxury lifestyles can be on the Gold Coast. Here, you will see the islands, houses with private waterfront and own pontoon or jetty.

At the entrance of the island, there’s a little shopping area, cafe etc. The little shopping area is not as impressive as the Village at Sanctuary Cove but here we are not talking about shopping experience.

Either you walk or drive, along the main road, you can see lots of designer houses. Some stunning, some just not my type. Some of the richest people in Australia also live here.

Passing through experience just like going to Beverly Hills kind of experience. You are not doing sightseeing tour, it’s more like a real estate tour experience, learning the lifestyle of rich people.

Of course, if you come during weekends, once you entered the gate, you will see quite a lot of “open house” signs. I’m sure you’re very welcome by any of these agents. But most of them are around noon.

Do not expect this is some what entertainment. It’s just a place to see the luxury lifestyle of Gold Coast people. So if you like this kind of activities, I definitely recommend you to spend an hour here before you head off to Labrador to see the Pelicans feeding at 1:30pm. It’s not far away.

Just before you cross the bridge to the Sovereign Islands, there’s plenty BBQ facilities along the beach and restaurants.

This is a small Center that only offers a boat broker that now only rents berths, a Real Estate Agent, a hairdresser and a cafe that keeps changing hands as they all go bust for a lack of business and a bad location for a cafe overlooking the security gate of Sovereign. Not worthwhile. Over the bridge to Paradise Point is your best bet....

Whilst I think it's a little over rated, it's still a nice spot.
Houses are all competing with each other to see who would be bigger and better.
Big houses on relatively small blocks for the size of the houses...
Worth a sticky beak Just for fun.

By far the best houses in Gold Coast. Best place to drive and see different types of houses. Far better than sanctuary cove and hope island. Best part is you can actually drive around because it’s open to the public.

I lived here for 3 years and the houses and boats are beautiful but don't think it is an attraction unless you are into real estate. If you must, go on a Saturday when there are open homes for sale and you will find that the water side and insides are far better than the street views.
