Have been spending summer vacations here for many years. The water is very clean and warm. Lake is not too busy so is enjoyable without too many boats.

Very enjoyable family vacation. Beautiful beach, warm lake, lots of family friendly activities. From kayaking, boating, tubing ,to hiking and many behind the scene attractions. eg. the potholes, the waterfalls just to name a few.

Very beautiful but not very dog friendly. No where really to take the dog for a swim. Texas Creek was only place and had to drive to where we could find a dog friendly beach.

Spent two weeks in August at the cleanest warmest lake in BC (according to the sign). The weather was great and I would have to agree with the sign. There are several hotels, campgrounds and some B&Bs in the area. Cabins are available to rent...More

After traveling through Vernon, Kelowna, Christina Lake, and Fernie I would say this was my least favourite. The provincial park beach seems poorly maintained as the goose poop seemed to out number grains of sand. Lack of public dock options made fishing without a boat...More

What place would you camp in for 7 days? Last week of July! Provincial Park, no hookups or Beverly Hills, smaller campground but not right on the water? We have a hybrid trailer and are bringing our dogs, bikes and paddle boards. We plan on doing lots of water,m biking and hiking things while there but there will be times we would like to leave the dogs behind and wonder if we would need air conditioning for them. Love the idea of being right on the water, however, having full services is also a great factor.

I prefer the provincial camp ground if you like it a little more rustic. They do have showers and good washroom facilities. You will need to be on the ball to a get a placed booked here. The beach is just a short walk from... More

I'm going to say Yes, however, I didn't use my phone. The town of Christina Lake is so close to the lake, you shouldn't have a problem. The residential district, is just up from the lake parking lot.
