Day access from the road and there is a hot dog stand in the parking lot. We got to see them on a foggy day so the visibility wasn't great, but the still were spectacular

Beautiful waterfall. Easy to reach by walking from parking. Lots of chipmunks around. Belgian couple is with a stand over there selling Belgian fries, waffles and drinks. One hour here is enough.

We are so glad that we finally made the trip to see the falls. Just as we were heading back to the truck, it started to rain. In the parking lot there is a 'cart' there where you can buy food as we had stopped...More

We were travelling from Jasper to Sun Peaks and had a couple of hours to spare. As we passed through Clearwater we decided to have a 'quick look' at Wells Gray Provincial Park which was in the opposite direction to that which we were going....More

One of the first falls as you enter the park Spahat Falls can be reached via a very short 5 minute walk from the parking lot. While not the largest falls in the park Spahat is nonetheless an impressive falls and well worth seeing.

We were in the area and went there following advice from the information center. We recommend going there during the afternoon hours. The lighting is perfect for taking pictures and the view is breath-taking.

Easy to walk to - go early or late in the day to avoid the tourist buses. It's one of the main attractions in Wells Gray. And it's on the paved road so don't miss it.

I don't kknow why I'd never heard of this falss before. Anywhere else and it would be a main attraction.

This waterfall shows exactly how it has cut through the mountain through the ages to form this cascade of water. The surrounding rock face is magnificent too.

The geology of the falls is amazing, layers of rock obvious, from so much ancient volcanic activity. We visited early in the morning and were passing the following day, late afternoon and had to have another look.....just wonderful!
