One of the first falls as you enter the park Spahat Falls can be reached via a very short 5 minute walk from the parking lot. While not the largest falls in the park Spahat is nonetheless an impressive falls and well worth seeing.
We were in the area and went there following advice from the information center. We recommend going there during the afternoon hours. The lighting is perfect for taking pictures and the view is breath-taking.
The geology of the falls is amazing, layers of rock obvious, from so much ancient volcanic activity.
We visited early in the morning and were passing the following day, late afternoon and had to have another look.....just wonderful!
