It's a small town and this is one of the few buildings with any sort of cultural investment put into it, second to the rec centre and adjacent park. Tons of information packed into there. Looking for fur? How about off season deathrace swag? Upstairs has local art walls and sales as well.

Great displays of the history of the area. Also displays of local industry really tell the history and stories of the people of Grande Cache.

Beautiful building and decor. We were there on a Sunday when it would seem to be a day for tourist visits. There was a small staff and we were told they were quite busy getting ready for their 20th Anniversary. I felt a little uncomfortable asking my questions as they did not seem to have time for me. We did... More

In all our travels across western Canada this visitor center is the best one we've been too to date, the staff were first rate taking the time to point out all the hidden locales in and around Grande Cache, definitely worth a stop.

I stopped by here for checking out the little museum, see if there are any new brochures or trail maps available, and to visit the "facilities" after an afternoon hike to Eaton Falls. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, there were new maps to be had, and the place is neat and clean. While stopping here, it is worthwhile... More

Visited the Tourism and Interpretive Centre. The staff were very informative and helpful as well as being friendly. Provided a great deal of information about the area and suggestions of what to see and do in the area. The facility was exceptional and the exhibits amazing. I would recommend to anyone going through Grande Cache.
