The staff were amazing and very welcoming to children. They readily explained details and answered questions. It is small but very worthwhile.

The contents of this museum are locally-found artifacts with little, if any, connection to the history of the area. Granted that Alliston plays an insignificant role in the history of anywhere but it would have been interesting to learn about the history of potato farming...More

I have been to the boyne museum about 4 or 5 times now and each time there is something new and interesting to explore. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and there is also a historic cabin in the back and an old jail...More

I loved that place. There is even an old jail cell outside on the way to the cabin and barn! It is an amazing place complete with original medical equipment in the Fredrick Banting exhibit and his actual canoe hanging from the 2nd floor ceiling....More

The museum is open 10am-3:30pm Mon-Fri from Sept-May, and open every day from June-August.
