Absolutely beautiful here! You can enjoy long trail walks while observing the scenery and listening to the many singing birds. Canoe trips through the marshes are breath taking and the staff are all so friendly and knowledgable. This is a trip every nature lover should come and enjoy!

Thanks giving weekend we went for a walk in the wetlands with my in laws small dog. We did the BC hydro trail walk. Most of the trail is wonderfully maintained with wood sturdy wood planks and the rest with a well groomed dirt and gravel. We saw a lot of wonderful small and larger treasures along the trails. Was visiting the Creston Valley last week and took advantage of the Wildlife Management trails available to the public. The trails are very well maintained and was a very nice walk. Didn't see much wildlife at this time of year. Most of the bird etc are done with nesting and have moved on. Would be really awesome in the spring... More

It starts off on boardwalk but most of the trail is a cleared path. Luckily for us it was an overcast day so the heat wasn't as intense as the day before. We didn't see any wild life until we were on the home stretch. Two ducks, which we had frightened into flight and a strange insect that looked like... More

Very enjoyable for everyone from my 9 yr old to my mother in law. We already talked about making this a part of our return... More

She was excellent and very informative. We were fortunate enough to see a painted turtle and they are hard to spot out there. I didn't get a chance to go on any of the hikes so that will be on my next trip back to... More

My kids just completed a week long day camp at the CWC. They had a wonderful time walking the trails, exploring the marshes, canoeing through swampland, doing scientific research, etc. And I was able to explore the trails myself and learn more about the birds that inhabit the area.

We came on a rainy day, so didn't get the full experience. We enjoyed the indoor area- lots to learn about (for kids especially) and a nice set up. The paths outside were easily walkable with a stroller. We saw lots of birds, but no other wildlife this day. We walked to the big lookout, and climbed to the top.... More
