Clean and peaceful

The lake is a great getaway with not a whole lot to do. Great if you are on a date and you like each other. The water was really clean when I went and I hope it still is.

The Muskoka or Muskoka lakes a must see best in the summer see the lakes visit the towns. Also the fall colors there amazing . Cranberry festival weekend after thanksgiving in Bala. Rib fest in Gravenhurst at the the wharf and farmers market in the week.

Stayed at the nearby Residence Inn by Marriott. Lake Muskoka is absolutely gorgeous. Lovely waterfront area with several restaurants and attractions.

Lake Muskoka is so beautiful. Love the fall colors and the lake seems to go on forever. Take a trip along the many roads beside the lake and discover all the different cottages and nooks and crannies. Breathtaking views at every turn.

So many beautiful lakes in Canada and Lake Muskoka is a gem! Very clean and refreshing. I sure wihs I were fortunate enough to have one of the beautiful lake homes there as I'm quite sure I would enjoy the summer in a special way living the Lake cottage lifestyle!

We visited in late September which was after the "end of season" as they say here. We drove right round the lake from our base in Gravenhurst and stopped off in a couple of places along the way - Port Carling and Bracebridge. Fall was just starting so the colours were appearing in the trees. The temperature was in the... More
