Wandering around Lunenburg and, like always, any time I see a bookstore I find myself drawn inside. Lovely little hidden store, a bookstore that readers will love. Little nooks to sit in, unique book selections, great local and children's sections, well organized and very friendly...More

I take all of my out-of-town guests to this magical little bookstore in the heart of downtown Lunenburg ... and they are always delighted and leave with a few unexpected treasures. Sometimes it is books they've heard of but have never been able to find...More

I admit we have a Kindleful of books ordered online. But there's nothing like a real book store, especially when it is locally owned and managed by someone special. We bought some children's books the day we visited. Afraid about not having enough room in...More

I loved this bookstore. You can tell that every single book in the store has been hand-selected by the owner! Fabulous selection of fiction, non-fiction and and absolutely wonderful children's section. Highly recommended!

This is the kind of bookstore you sink into and while away a day. When we walked in, two small kids were tucked in chairs emmersed in books while their parents perused nearby shelves. The shop owner was knowledgeable and helpful and the selection impressive.

I visited this lovely bookshop several times - finding books about Nova Scotia and also just a good novel to read on my vacation. The owner was most helpful each time. There are used as well as new books.

Thank you for your response, but we are indeed a store that sells totally new books; no used books.

This is a great spot to stop - I have been here every few weeks since it opened in May. The children's nook is tucked away and cozy, and the exposed stone foundation brings to mind the heritage of this seaside town. Despite the large...More
