This is an informative, educational, and entertaining place all wrapped up into one. The video on th blue nose is a must as is the tour of the fishing,boat. Take time out to have fish and chips in the cafe, wow!

The decommissioned ships / vessels along side the museum make it a worth while visit. Kids love the touch tank.

3 floors of exhibits, and 2 fishing vessels in the harbour real fisherman on each vessel will give you first hand information about the fishing industry.Nice gift shop also

Thank you for your great review. There is nothing like hearing about fishing from those who actually went to sea and experienced the team life on a fishing vessel and the North Atlantic, sometimes at its worst.

You should definitely visit this museum. And you should definitely avoid the aquarium on the first floor, unless you like to see sad fish living in small dirty cement tanks. This is what aquariums used to look like and it is bizarre that this one...More

No valet parking was there. There was a lot for abou$ 5.00 I think, but you can look it up on museum website.
