Nice layout but in bad shape

Played it august 26th. I like the layout and it is good if you want to practice your irons. Some nice short par 4's and some long par 3's. The greens are in bad shape, they have... read more

Played it august 26th. I like the layout and it is good if you want to practice your irons. Some nice short par 4's and some long par 3's. The greens are in bad shape, they have this green fungus growing and golfers do not repair their ball marks. On every green I repaires abour 5 each green. The bunkers... More

Played with my older (17) teenage son and we had a good round. Course layout is challenging with some very nice holes. Lots of bunkers which is great for target golf...but the bunkers were full of rocks mixed into the sand...new sand-wedge needed...overall we enjoyed the course and the staff were friendly.

We chose Manitou because we wanted a shorter layout and a relaxed game. The setting is excellent and the layout is quite challenging. The pro shop staff were friendly and efficient. The tees and the fairways were in very good condition but the greens were rough. This is somewhat understandable on a busy course that has several par 3 holes.... More

We are beginners at golf. Staff was very friendly, they said to take our time. We had a great 18 holes. We did let other people go but we never felt pressure to do so. We saw 2 deers:)

I've been a member for a few years now. Well maintained, usually not very busy with great staff. Note that there are no par 5. Not easy, you will likely loose a few balls, but quite entertaining. Possibility to rent a cart, but can be walked. Have fun

We played Manitou during fall when the leaves were in full color. It was a magical experience. Greens were beautiful, surrounding well maintained.

I thought I was going to play such an amazing course after I saw the brochure of the Manitou. The course was in very bad shape , the fairways were awful. The course wasn't really busy that day but we did catch other 4 some at some point. The 2nd Nine holes is dangerous. Balls fly from everywhere and you... More

Awesome terrain. Wasn't expecting such a challenge. Many ups and downs and curves. Go right before they close to avoid lines before and after you !

I took my 7 year old who is in his first year golfing. It is a challenging layout, especially the front 9 where there are several areas off the tee box that one needs to hit 80-100 yards to clear water/scrub brush. The back 9 is a little more forgiving and if you are going to play 9, play the... More
