Nothing better than playing shinny hockey and skating in the forest. The park is excellently maintained with superb changing facilities.

Just a few blocks away from quaint urban downtown is an absolutely delightful escape into the woods for a skate or walk. Added bonus is that it is free.

We visited this park while in the area and took the kids skating. The paths are beautiful and well maintained. Be careful stepping out onto the ice from the change house as it can be a bit tricky and several people fell.

Totally amazing place, I'd love to see it in the evening. Didn't skate but walked the trails. Lots of families during the day, ample parking and a warm lodge

I think as long as it’s cold enough to keep the ice rink it will be open. In evenings some of the paths are lit up. Season will still be this WE.
