This is an easy, family friendly trail located close to Fernie. There are signs throughout the walk teaching you how to identify different species of trees by their bark and needles. Our two kids enjoyed this very much!

The trees are the treasure. Many are old, some are dying. The size of these ancients is amazing. It was worth the stop. I do wish it was better marked on the road, and I wish the path was better maintained.

1  Thank cathsalzman
