Only 20 minutes from Quebec City, the Parc National de la Jacques-Cartier earned its nickname, “Québec City's Great Outdoors,” with its four-season playground. Winter play is on the area's two ski resorts, snow slides, and its new snowshoeing and Nordic skiing trails. Summertime finds travelers hanging at the lakes. Feeling adventurous? Spend the night in a yurt, primitive campsite or cottage in the woods.

We traveled from Pennsylvania to visit Ottawa and nearby Gatineau for three days last Labor Day weekend. After touring the Canadian Museum of History, we walked down here to see the MOSAICanada display, which I believe was due to close soon. What a treat it...More

I love art in the garden. This delivered 10 times over. It was worth the line up. We spent a good couple of hours here. What a wonderful green space

Winter Festival Feb. 2018 was awesome. When everything was light up at night you felt like you were in a snow globe! Lots to do in the park as well as in Ottawa.

It was $10 admission fee per person plus parking was separate. The work on the sculptures made of ice was astonishing! And the colourful lighting on the sculptures Made winter look even more beautiful than it already is. We got super lucky the weather was...More

We were in Gatineau and had a chance to see some of the displays at Jacques Cartier Park. Though the Snowflake Kingdom website indicated that the entrance fee was "free" we found out that we actually had to pay $10.00 per person to see the...More

How they have the audacity to charge anything for this exhibit is beyond me. Maybe it was too late in the season and the sculptures were not what they used to be but we were all very disappointed. Perhaps the night time show is better...More

Yes, it's unfortunate they stopped the exhibit. It should be annual. Too bad the petition didn't work. We signed it.
