My husband, 12-year-old daughter and I went on a 3-hour dog-sledding tour with Tanya at Chenil la Poursuite - and wow, what an experience!! None of us had ever done anything like this before, and it is absolutely something we'll always remember. My husband and I had one sled, with him driving while I was the passenger (we could easily... What a fun experience, especially the day after a ton of snow. Our guide, Carol, was so friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful and really handled the dogs well. The trails were tranquil and beautiful. Advice: take advantage of borrowing the extra costs, blankets, etc. It was cold! Even in our multiple layers of ski ware. Almost lost some toes. But the... More

From the moment we arrived until we departed our family felt the experience was fantastic. The staff is energetic and knowledgeable. The opportunity to take a team of dogs and a sled through the forest was simply awesome. If you are looking for a unique experience this is your place. Memories to last a lifetime.

This dog sledding was a part of my guided day trip and I absolutely loved it, such an incredible experience...the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, it's because it was kinda short and before you get a full feeling, it's done...and second thing was that the guide said we can not change place between doing a ride or driving... Right outside of Quebec City is an odd place to do dogsledding, but it is a well set up operation. We had lots of fun on a half day excursion, though parts of it can be quite tiring. Worth the effort though to do a very Canadian activity.

Chenil La Poursuite is a dog sled adventure featuring a pack of 250 magnificent husky and malamute sled dogs. The kennel is located just 15 minutes from downtown Quebec in Saint-Nicolas (look for the gigantic dog at the entrance). Tours range from an hour (departing every hour), to half a day (departing at 9:00 in the morning and 1:30 in... More

We arrived early, the location is easily spotted from the highway as there is a gigantic dog at the entrance. We had lots of time to get ready and see the puppies and kennel. We did the half day tour at 1:30pm and for the time with the dogs and on the trail it seemed like the best option. We... More

My husband and I took part in a three hour dogsledding tour last Friday after our stay at the Hotel de Glacé. It was one of the top 10 experiences in my life and I have travelled a lot and have done a lot. The dogs are well care for and well trained. Our guide (I wish I could remember... More

Myself and 2 friends visited this location on our way from Quebec City to Montreal earlier this month. We did book ahead to "reserve" for the three of us. We were told to arrive approximately 30 minutes before 1pm to get ready for the excursion. We planned to go for the half day trip which lasted approximately 3 hours (with... More

Dogs are healthy and energetic. Guides are friendly and responsible. My 12 years old having lot of fun driving the sled. For smaller kid (like my 9 years old) since they are sitting in the sled the whole time give them a blanket or extra cloth to keep them warm. On the half day (3 hours) tour, there was a... More
