Beautiful park located approx 45 mins outside Victoria. Well worth the drive! I parked in each lot (1, 2, and 3) to catch a glimpse of everything. $2.25 CAD allows you to park in any lot. I started at Lot 3 at the end and...More

You can drive and park at the nearest parking lot, or you can drive up further uphill to park at the innermost parking lot. It is a good walk if you park at the nearest parking lot. Either way, you can enjoy hiking up to...More

There is a fun short walk from parking lot 3 to the water. On July 2, the water was still frigid. The rock hopping and climbing over the boulders was fun and the natural beauty is impressive. I recommend this as a couple of hour...More

This park offered a different experience than just your typical walking trails. With plenty of hills and terrain to climb around on, you can get an awesome view of the river and its potholes. Apparently the secret is to get here early in the morning,...More

Great views from the lookouts over the water and waterfalls. Close to Sooke, easy access, good parking, paved roads and a sweet area to explore and picnic. The Sooke Potholes are very, very busy in the summer so recommend visiting in the late spring and...More
