I have a penchant for pebble beaches. I love the sound of the receding waves as it runs over the pebbles. In this respect, Sandcut Beach was heaven. I could have listened for hours. On top of that, Sandcut Creek waterfalls onto the beach, making...More

Just loved this place. This is long gravel beach but it is still great for a nice walk along the water. The trail down to the beach is a couple of hundred meters long and goes through the forest. It is awesome and but in...More

While the trail to the beach is steep, it is well maintained and therefore easy to walk on. At low tide, the beach is a lovely walk to Jordan River

Enjoyed walking on the trail down to the beach. Worth a visit if you like some short trails to visit. Would go again.

This was a short, easy hike to a beautiful beach. Would have loved to spend the day enjoying the waves. We went around 9-10 am, and it wasn't very busy at all. Lovely local gem, and nice stop on the drive from Sooke to Port...More

Hidden back only 25 feet behind the tree line near the end of the beach is this semi-hidden water fall (actually it was just running down the rocks most of the way) but it is a beautiful natural wonder. Just outside of this is a...More

This is a short drive from Sooke. Parking is limited so arrive early. We arrived at about 930 on a Saturday and there were only a few spots left. The trail is easy for those without mobility problems. The beach is sandy and beautiful with...More
